Hugs - Understanding! Free Download Artwork

We thought it will be for 3 months...thens surely wont last more than 6 months ...that became a year and now its more than a year we are still in lockdown in a way or another. New York times article described the feeling as Languishing feeling!  Through this Pandemic frustration and with same time many other social protests rising I created the below artwork to be shared--- to help with letting others know how important they are in my life.  If you would like to download the printable artwork click here

Understanding...
A year of missed hugs or more....a year of not being able to see you...a year of only listening on phone about other's joys and struggles...so many things i have missed and with so many heartbreaking things happening around me i wish i could send hugs out to whole world.

.I simply want to send hug to myself too...hope with this image i can send those hugs out to many of you if not you all. Hope you can understand so how much you are valued and loved...we can feel each other's pain and worry, cant wait to see the light shining thru.

I have alwayd wanted to join in the prompts at @ifdrawaweek but this week i couldnt resist with such a caring prompt by @anna.garssen.Thank you for sharing this prompt.

Looking forward to Spring

We have been enjoying looking at daffodils and various other flowers coming out, Lil one loves looking at them, smelling them. So this activity seemed perfect to keep him busy for few minutes and learn about seeds. We used some egg cartons, got some compost, seeds and started planting.
Everyday we look at the growth of little seedings which such a joy.
Our Miss Cornflower was the quickest to show , then cherry tomatoes. Lets see what comes up
next:-) Need to see what are we going to do one these are all ready to be potted.....

Lil one enjoyed spooning compost in the egg cartons and then planting the seeds.A pretty easy and soothing activity to do if your lil one still likes eating earth or small things then maybe don't introduce this activity yet.

Buffalo, Newyork State, U.S -Allentown

Second part of our quick travels was Buffalo, Newyork State, U.S. Why did we choose Buffalo? we wanted something near Toronto in U.S and both of us had no clue of this part of the Newark State. We reached monday afternoon with Megabus - pretty decent ride (forgot to book front seats), time taken at customs was decent too.We stayed at Adam's Mark , Buffalo hotel ; its pretty good for location as its literally in downtown Buffalo. People like us who like to walk and explore, couldn't have asked for more, though I did need to get used to the time waiting /confusing pedestrian crossing.Oh yes, don't miss out on breakfast buffet the hotel does...we stuffed ourselves...:-)Below are few pics from my best part of the city -Walk to AllentownAllentown boasts a thriving cultural and artistic scene and a large selection of bars, restaurants, and funky shops. I couldn't resist taking pictures of the houses on Trinity Street.....just look at those amazing colours.

Visit to Montreal, QC, Canada

After a long planning and going through a list of places we wanted to visit we ended up dividing the quick holiday into two small holidays - Montreal, QC, Canada and Buffalo, New York, US.

We had lovely 3 days in Montreal, booked in Samesun Montreal Central , met lovely people and it was walking distance to most of the places we wanted to visit.I used to get up with beautiful fragrances of freshly Baked Croissants every morning. We managed to cover few touristy and few not so touristy bits...and few amazing cafes. One has to visit Kahwa Cafe on Avenue du Mount Royal E,had beautiful decor and great sandwiches here. The second favourite was a small patisserie just opposite Kahwa Cafe but very tiny sitting space and it was already crowded with the queue so we couldn't get to have sit down experience here.
We came across Cafe KAFEIN too loved the arts vibe of it and the food. Sandwiches made from Focaccia with grilled vegetables was amazing, loved the baskets these are served in along with few crisps and small portion on salad. we even tried their soup and lemonade really a delight.

Came across loads of runners sprinting up and down on Mount Royal, which was amazing to see.Loved the graffiti filled walls, the walk on Rue DULUTH reminded me of walking on Portobello market, London.

The only thing we didn't like was, too many smokers on the road, found it bit difficult to pass the second hand smoking.

Enough talking here are few pics from the trip.....

Fall is here!

A sunny weekend, few idle creative minds; after a pretend mud hotdog stand,a pretend pet shop, a game of tag & my favourite the quiet game (wasn't much success)..what else could we do?To complete the day nice and easy, we went exploring and collected different coloured leaves; we came back with these beautiful shades as keepsake.

Tried to capture the colours at least a bit with watercolours, am happy with result (below), what you think.
These little guys (below) are going to be on their way to few lovely people soon. Lets see what they think when token of Fall arrives in their post.

My niece came up with a bookmark from her collection of leaves; truly its a treat for eyes.Just need to convince her to make few more for all of us in the family ;-)

"Fall" - Toronto 2015

Imagine being on a cycle ride going thru usual trail but its just not usual anymore.... the luscious greens are taking a different colour. The reflection in the river is not just green any more ....its Reds, Oranges,Greens,Yellows...Glorious sunshine..Oh the wonderful sun shining on the trees adding to the rich colours. You don't want to ride anymore you just want to look at the gradient trees, the beautiful landscape and just take it in.

You realise you have left shades of greys few months back.
Fall is here or Fall, here we are.
